Laboratory studies confirm the convergence of the simulation results with the experimental data: solutions have
been obtained to crystallize out cryolite (with fluorine and silica content of 50–53 % wt. and 0.11÷0.53 % wt., respectively), which is in demand in the electrolysis of cryolite-alumina melts.
This algorithm consists of two successive steps: choosing the component composition of the simulated system considering chemical analysis data obtained for the SPL components and alkaline solution; and preparing data to introduce into the model considering the solvent concentration and the L:S ratio.
Based on the chemical composition data of the average sample of the SPL carbon part, we determined a set of independent components and their concentrations in % wt. to introduce into the model as follows: 50.35 C, 17.51 F, 16.44 Na, 6.77 Al, 1.49 Si, 0.33 Fe, 2.01 Ca, 0.65 Mg, 2.11 O, 0.86 S, 0.73 K, 0.10 Cl, and 0.06 Ti.
To verify the convergence of the SPL carbon part hydrometallurgical processing simulation results with practical data and to adjust the main process parameters, we have performed laboratory tests.

DIT was extracted from the high frequency capacitance data by means of the Terman method [11].
The data in Fig. 4 shows DIT as a function of the energy position in the bandgap, Ec-Et.
The ConV data shown in Fig. 6 uses a constant voltage and allows projection of dielectric lifetime.
The data in Fig. 7 show the effect of a hold stress on the capacitance voltage characteristics.
The data in Fig. 8 shows Fowler Nordheim analysis of the high-field regions of J-E plots.

LSFCu/LSGM/LSFCu symmetrical cells were prepared and Area Specific Resistance (ASR) values, directly depending on the rate limiting step of the oxygen reduction reaction, were evaluated.
These features may be explained with the occurrence of cations interdiffusion between LSGM and LSFCu causing the formation of a solid solution with a consequent reduction of the cell volume.
A performing cathode, apart from having very good activity for oxygen reduction, should be stable in oxidizing environment and have a high electronic conductivity (>100 S·cm-1).
The measured data were plotted in the complex plane and fitted to an equivalent circuit from which the ASR values reported in Fig. 3 c) were deduced.
Data show no substantial difference between the two materials being, for instance, 0.25 Ω·cm2 vs 0.31 Ω·cm2 at 750 °C for LSFCu and LSFCo, respectively.

Comparison of prediction models for time-to-cracking has been done in a recently published study, which indicated simple prediction models provide better good fit to various sets of experimental data than complex models.
As a follow-up, this study uses published crack-width data to compare different models, developed in the literature to predict crack-width of concrete cover.
Although both of the empirical and numerical approaches are attractive for real-life applications owing to their ease of data collection, they have limited explaining for the process of cracking and growth of crack width.
From the data collection point of view, crack width at the surface is easy to measure.
The only difficulty in data collection is the corrosion current density (icorr), which might be assumed for buried concrete structures.

In addition, analytical data on the study of the slag mode during the fluidization of the alloy are presented.
The results of the evaluation of oxygen activity in metal depending on the chemical composition of slag oxidation and reduction cycles in the furnace are presented.
This research is expected to be a highly innovative project for energy saving, waste reduction and clean production in the iron and steel industry in the future [8, 9, 10].
In the process of diffusion deoxidation of steel, the reduction of iron and manganese and silicon oxides in the slag and the activity of oxygen in the steel occur.
High diffusion in the arc furnace allows for a greater reduction of oxygen activity during deoxidation.

Research of the acoustic emission data processing technology
In the acoustic emission data monitor process, no matter in laboratory or in construction site, there will occur some uncertain elements, which can produce some acoustic emission signals, mingled in the rock acoustic emission signals, thus we have to reduce the noise of the monitored data and make it more real to reflect the rock status.
Now the most frequently used noise reduction way on the rock acoustic emission data is called wavelet analysis theory, which initial stage adopted the traditional FFT transform for signal processing to process the image and sound signals, now the more effective way to do signal process is Wavelet Transform theory.
Although researchers combine the acoustic emission technology with a little practical study of geological and mining engineering and tunnel engineering, the practical data were still very little.
Still some researchers do experiments to analyze the crustal stress by Kaiser Effect, and most of them are only get the data curve, not do carefully analysis on the data curve after noise reduction.
Thus the research of rock acoustic emission should be improved on analyzing technologies, we should use many ways to analyze the rock acoustic emission data curve, and establish reliable connections between the rock acoustic emission data curve and its stress, and get reliable theory and formula, to make greater development on the rock acoustic emission technology.
