Through FPGA controls the laser external trigger signal,at the same time for image processing, according to the two speckle image,choose the method of point by point analysis, calculating the measured surface deformation, then according to the theory of elastic mechanics related and cutting tool’s material constitutive relation, getting the strain and stress field.
Due to when the cutting tool cut difficult materials in high-speed intermittent, producing the thermal stress, but this condition should be measured by this method.The speckle measurements can not measure aimlessly the entire process, what state of the stress field is more representative, it should be given some of typical cutting conditions by the finite element analysis, let the measurement system targeted to measure.
