Seismic damage simulation of arch dam
Considering the heterogeneity intrinsic to concrete materials, the authors have proposed a procedure to take into account the influence of this heterogeneity in the seismic damage simulation of concrete dams[4][5].In the presented paper, this procedure was employed to model damage process of an arch dam through Monte-Carlo analysis.
The uncertainty in ground motion input (peak ground motion), materials properties of concrete and heterogeneity of concrete are considered. 3.
In the current research, the numerical approached was used, the uncertainty in ground motion input and material properties of concrete was considered.
