Study area and Sampling
A typical Pb-Zn smelting slags dump was chosen for the present study, and the soil samples were collected (0-20cm) from slags dump and varying distances from the center of slags dump, which were showed and described in Table 1 and Fig.1.
Reagent blanks, 10% duplicated samples and soil standard reference materials were employed to check the accuracy of analysis.

Experimental material and method Annealed 45 steel was chosen as experimental material and 5 specimens were prepared, each specimen size is 18 × 75mm.
This is because in this temperature range, the temperature is higher, the transformation of microstructure can be fully proceeded and the grain is finer, yield strength of materials is increased.
