Lubricating technology is an effective solution to avoid the wear of materials.
Self-repairing technology for wear of materials is an innovation technology in the field of surface engineering [1-5].
In this paper, a special kind of inorganic mineral powders was selected as the self-repairing materials.
The morphologies, element distributions and micro-mechanical properties of the worn surface were investigated by means of scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive spectrometry (EDS) and nanoindentation tester, respectively. 2 Experimental 2.1 Experimental Materials The base treatment solution is 50CC oil, the self-repairing material is inorganic mineral powders.
