Last two decades have witnessed continued development of advanced composite and other high performance aerospace materials with increased specific strength and modulus, longer fatigue life, higher combat survivability etc.
Introduction The fiber-reinforced composite materials are ideal for structural applications where high strength-to-weight and stiffness-to-weight ratios are required.
A variety of structural components made of composite materials such as aircraft wing, helicopter blade, vehicle axles, and turbine blades can be approximated as laminated composite beams, which requires a deeper understanding of the vibration characteristics of the composite beams.

Environmentally conscious manufacturing is a new philosophy which focuses on the most efficient and productive use of raw materials and natural resources, and minimizes the adverse impacts on worker´s health and safety and the environment.
The selection depends on many parameters, e.g. workpiece material used, cutting tool material and geometry, and type of machining process.
The disadvantages of dry machining have to be compensated by improving the cutting tools properties, by the development of tool materials with lower friction coefficient and high heat resistance, better coatings or tool geometries.

Materials using fluorescent complexes of ruthenium, phosphorescent palladium(II)- and platinum(II)-porphyrin complexes and related structures have shown considerable promise as oxygen sensors[6]. such sensors are usually chemically inert, do not consume analytes, and provide a non-invasive technique for gas analysis through translucent materials.
The composite materials is achieved by printing the ink on oxygen scavenger wrapping paper, and then combine with the PET film or PE film by the method of dry lamination.

The materials used for the electrode have been intensively studied [9].
Yet, the carbon electrode materials were testified to show the poor kinetic, low wettability and low surface area [1-3].

Introduction There are two key techniques for transport of raw materials in the surface mining in Poland: continuous via belt conveyors and cyclic via heavy trucks.
The results can also be used as supplementary materials in the procedure for obtaining an environmental decision.

Predicting failure in composite materials is complicated due to the multiplicity of failure modes involving either fibres or the matrix or combinations of both [6].
Tsai Hill's criterion is based on the Von Mises distortional energy criterion which was modified by Hill so as to satisfy anisotropic materials and was subsequently applied to composite materials by Tsai.
