This has eventually resulted in increased demand for building materials and wood fibre products.
Generally, this can be achieved by making use of wood instead of either fossil fuels or non-wood materials, such as steel, aluminium and concrete materials.
The availability of timber and other wood-based materials locally in large quantity, particularly in the Southern part of Nigeria facilitates high preference for the choice of these materials for finishes.

The proposal method can be used for medicine, pharmacy, life science, and material science.

Three-dimensional (3-D) shape measurement of specimen surfaces is used in a wide range of fields including medicine, pharmacy, life science, and material science.
From the figures we can see that the intensity distribution of the reflection pattern image is not more nearly constant than causes, such as material, and surface structure of target.

Recently, the
requirement of improved structural efficiency at relatively low cost has invigorated research over
cellular materials in which metallic foam material is easily fabricated.
However an optimal design of foam materials needs be based on reliable engineering researches.
Conclusion The experiments and simulations on fatigue crack growth in foam materials yielded the following conclusions
Engineering Method for Deformation, Fracture, and Fatigue, Mechanical Behavior of Materials, Vol. 2 (1999), pp.357-558
Plain Strain Crack Toughness Testing of High Strength Metallic Materials, ASME, Special Technical Publication, No. 410 (1966).

Introduction
Composite materials have been the materials of interest for many researchers due to the various advantages that they offer compared to monolithic metal alloys.
The mechanical properties of most traditional engineering materials are sensitive to the strain rate.
These materials present brittle-like properties when high strain rates are employed in the tensile tests.

Retrofit Materials
The retrofit materials that were used in this study were an attaching retrofit material (B2),which consisted of a trapezoidal aluminum hollow section and glass fiber composite, and a wrapping retrofit material (CB), which consisted of glass fiber composite with a “ㄷ” shape.
Figure 1 shows the shapes of the retrofit materials.
The above retrofit materials were manufactured using UD glass prepreg.
For the B2-1 and B2-2 specimens, the sides of the specimens were retrofitted with 1EA and 2EA B2 retrofit materials, respectively.
