The resulting nuclear-density maps have reconfirmed that Cu1–Cu2 chains are the main conduction pathways in this material, as previously suggested from the Rietveld analysis of neutron powder diffraction data.

These density images lead us to conclude that the Cu1–Cu2 chain is the main conduction route in this material, as Kanno et al. pointed out.

The paper select a model of beam-column joints of apparent storeys to simulate, and a similar material which is called larch.
Generally, the difference in radial and tangential of wood is ignored, so the properties of radial and tangential of anisotropic materials are same in models [3].

Porous materials supported Pd or Pd-Ag inorganic composite membranes are focused on for hydrogen separation and purification due to their large H2 permeability, high H2 selectivity and low noble metal consumption.
This is because osmosis pressure is only related to the solute concentration but not related to the properties of solute and membrane materials and its introduction to the electroless plating process only change the mass transfer rate and direction of the metal ions but not the compositions of the metal alloy.
