The journal orbit of rotor and stability of the system are analyzed by the symmetrical rigid rotor model in references [1].
The journal orbit of the rotor and its stability are determined by using shooting method and generalized shooting method in references [3, 4].
E, I are the elastic modulus and equatorial inertia moment of section of rotor, l is the distance between two bearings, β=0.00193 is material coefficient, fxa and fya are nonlinear oil film forces of two bearings in negative x, y directions respectively, g is the acceleration of gravity, are unbalanced mass eccentricities of bearing and disk in x and y directions, respectively.
