The research of two-dimensional (2D) materials deals with various topics, including condensed matter physics, electronic engineering, materials science, and chemistry, since graphene was mechanically peeled in 2004 by Geim and Novoselov [2].
Although there have been many studies on the melting process of BN materials, the melting mechanism of two-dimensional BN materials with a free surface under the influence of temperature has not been studied in detail.

Phase change materials include solid-liquid phase change materials and solid-solid phase change materials.
Shape-stabilized PCMs compose of the solid-liquid phase change material and the supporting materials by a certain percentage which guarantee the materials not flow and can be processed.
Phase change materials are adopted to add into the common building materials to enhance the regenerative capacity of the wall and save energy.
