Suppose composite materials with cracks, loaded, the crack is limited by the fiber eutectic in the crack surface, thereby the crack tip stress intensity factor may be reduced.
In far-field region, due to the axial deformations of the fiber eutectic, particles and composite materials are same, so (1) were, E11 and E are respectively the longitudinal elastic modulus of the fiber eutectic and the elastic modulus of composite materials, given in the literature [5].
Ep is the elastic modulus of particles. sf and sp are the stress which are respectively undertaken by the fiber eutectic and particles. s is the stress borne by composite materials.
