Introduction Nowadays, C&D wastes are used to create recycled aggregate (RA) which are often used in the field of civil engineering mostly for roads construction and for the production of non-structural concrete [1,2,3].
In order to have a thorough knowledge of recycled concrete performance in structural engineering it is important to get exhaustive information on some fundamental mechanical properties, such as compressive strength and elastic modulus.
