Many material properties of polymers are strongly dependent on molecular weight, and are substantially changed by chain scission. 3.
Structural changes in the polymer, which will accompany the formation of small molecule products from the polymer, or may be produced by other reactions. 2.1 Materials and electron beam accelerator Thermofixed PET fabrics from Dupont (USA) used in this work was washed for 30 min in boiling water, thoroughly rinsed up to total removal of this latter and dried, and then irradiated with electron beam (EB) which carried out in the air under a Van De Graff 5MeV electron accelerator (Apont Company, Wuxi) with different dose: 50kGy, 100kGy, 200kGy, 400kGy. 2.2 Measurements The surface chemical structure of the fabrics was characterized by a Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectrometer (ThermoNicolet 8700, USA), equipped with a variable-angle attenuated total reflectance (ATR) accessory.

Sulfide and ash removal is the key when coal is used as fuel materials for direct carbon fuel cells.
As a clean and absorption performance of porous material, the extract residue of coal can be used as the carrier of catalyst, the decolorant for coloring matter, sorbent for metal ions and impurities, which have a wide application prospect [3, 4].
