If we combine insulation materials with the wall, such as the insulation material or phase-change material poured into the hollow brick, making the "thermal wall" in the form of blocks, so that composite insulation wall become a real "insulation wall ".

Abstract.
However, except the mechanical means, the other methods are often limited to standardized materials, such as silicon or electrical plating metals.
For many applications, such structures limited in material complexity and dimensionality may not be optimal functionality.
Masuzawa et al [9-11] has used a micro-EDM machine to assemble a micro pin/plate tool workstation, in which an additional taper on the micro-pin was machined to improve self-aligning insertion and fixation into a corresponding hole on the assembled plate, then the assembly was completed by an ultrasonic vibration to produce ultrasonic bonding between the pin and the plate, each of which was made of different materials.
