Materials and Methods Experimental Set-up.The experimental set-up is shown in Fig. 1.
For ferric ion, a removal rate of 70% was obtained at dosage of 50mg/L, however, a decrease was seen when the concentration continued to increase, as shown in Fig.2(c).This may be explained that ferric ion was an essential electron carrier in the oxidation-reduction reaction of the cytochrome and ferredoxin, which played a key role in the process of electron transfer.
