The main steps of the modeling are as follows:
1) Widely collect and analyze the related technical material: analyze the structure, function and fault form of HNCS;
2 ) Ensure the top event: the top event of the system is network communication system of highway;
3) Top events analysis: investigate the cause of the top event and determine the logic relation of the top event;
4) Establish the fault tree model: from the top event, take the deduce analysis method to find out the cause result in the failure of superior event gradually, until find out all events (failure).
