Metal materials are subjected to innumerable time-dependent degradation mechanisms when operate in power, petrochemical and refinery plant.
These materials are subjected to multiaxial stresses, creep, fatigue, corrosion and abrasion.
All tests were performed at room temperature for both investigated filler materials at the samples prepared from 10 mm thick plates made of 13CrMo4-5 steel.

It has been found [4, 5] that two main zones exist on the metal kerf in cutting materials by an AWJ, i.e. the upper smooth zone and the lower striation zone characterized by waviness, as shown in Fig 1.
On the basis of the studies of Bitter [8] and Finnie [9] on solid particle erosion mechanisms of materials, Hashish [10] claimed that the cutting mechanisms in the smooth zone could be considered as cutting wear and in the striation zone as deformation wear.

Generally, this VAWT produces an average voltage from 12 V and up to 48 V at low wind speed depending on the blade design including the material and the shape of the blade and also the turbulence of the location itself.
