In quantum chemistry, the interaction between the electric quadrupole moment and the EFG tensor is expressed with Hamiltonian operator as [12]: (1) Where, e is the elementary charge, equal to 1.602189×10-19C; Q is the quadrupole moment, for 14N, equal to 0.0156×10-24 cm2 [13]; I =1 is the spin quantum number for 14N.
(a) (b) Fig. 1 Molecular models: (a) urea (CH4N2O); (b) thiourea (CH4N2S) Considering they are all C2 rotating axisymmetric structures in molecular models of urea and thiourea, that is, Ns are equivalent respectively, sorting spindle components of EFG tensors by Eq. (2) separately, and then substituting them and all constants known to Eq. (8) and (9), we can obtain the NQR parameters from quantum chemical estimation as follow: Table 1 NQR parameters of urea and thiourea based on models and methods mentioned above compound h c (MHz) n (MHz) n+ n- urea 0.1224 3.6964 2.8855 2.6592 thiourea 0.1840 3.5900 2.8576 2.5274 According to the estimated value shown in Table 1, taking account of the errors possibly existing between calculation and experiment, combined with specific experimental conditions, in order to search NQR signals as effectively as possible, we first performed a rough wide range frequency sweep
Summary Based on quantum chemistry theories and single-molecule models, employing B3LYP method with 6-311++G(d,p) basis set in geometry optimization calculation by using Gaussian 09, we have obtained the two independent components of 14N NQR frequencies of urea and thiourea, respectively.

Many references [3-6] show that material surface characteristics, such as hydrophilicity, chemistry, charge, roughness and rigidity, would greatly affect the adhesion ability of different types of bacterial or cell on material surface.

Sulaiman developed a technique to determine concentration of all species at equilibrium based on neutralization of the carbonated amine solution with a strong base [1]. 1H and 13C NMR is a better analytical option compared to titration and optical techniques because no calibration is needed and structure of molecules obtained enable byproduct analysis.

The properties and uses of geopolymers are being explored in many scientific and industrial disciplines, modern inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry, colloid chemistry, mineralogy, geology and in all types of engineering process technologies [1,4].
The process by which the metakaolin particles lose their initial layered structure through dissolution reactions under alkaline conditions, releasing aluminate and silicate units, controls the development of cementitious binding phases which incorporate these aluminates and silicates, contributing strength and impermeability to the hardened material [9-11].

These processes greatly modify the surface chemistry of the steels due to segregation and selective oxidation of alloying elements [1-5].
The properties and reactivity of steels is then noticeably affected, for e.g. surface oxides deteriorate the wettability by liquid zinc in hot dip galvanizing [6-8], grain boundary oxidation during hot rolling of steels hampers the surface structure and further workability in the production routes.

Raw materials used for the preparation of willemite crystal are sodium feldspar, potassium feldspar, lithium oxide, calcium oxide, zinc oxide, kaolinite clay from Lampang, silica and cobalt oxide 0.2 % coloring agent in the glazes because cobalt oxide is stable and do not destroy the crystal structure [8].
