Asphalt mainly derives from petroleum, to some extent, it belongs to high polymer and is an organic material having the extremely complex chemical structure, with the thermodynamic reversible process nature of the dissolution and precipitation, which determines the aging asphalt can be sustainable used, which also determines their aging behavior and recycling behavior is very complex.
It shows that the same asphalt, different aging time, same regeneration agent, under different mixture ratios, asphalt recycling mechanisms are as follows: For the same blending ratio from horizontal comparison with the increase of aging time: asphalt chemical conversion first increases and then decreases, and colloid chemistry outputs and saturated chemical inputs decreases straightly, and chemical inputs of aromatics reduces straightly.
For the same blending ratio, with the increase of aging time, asphaltene chemical conversion outputs increases first and then decreases, and colloid chemistry conversion outputs decreases, and aromatics chemistry conversion inputs reduce, and saturated chemical conversion inputs increase.
