Most of the stillage contains easily degradable materials, such as carbohydrate and protein which are also predominant organic compounds in starch wastewater.
Conclusion The industrial wastewater, especially their fermentation had great potential to be used as alternative carbon source for denitrification, and also, the fermented VFAs can be the material of biological plastic.
