In recent years, with the deep research on new materials, both the traditional plastic cushioning materials such as EPE, EPS, and the paper-based cushioning materials such as honeycomb paperboard, corrugated cardboard are widely used.
In the derivation process of equation (9), there is not any linearity assumption of the material, so the equation is applicable to the overlay combination of linear materials and non-linear materials.
Parallel pads were usually made by same materials.
