The effect of the amino group’s charge density and phenol hydroxyl of quaternized N- aromatic CTS derivatives on antimicrobial activity was investigated. Ⅱ.Exprtimental 2.1 Materials CTS were purchased from Qingdao Haidebei Bioengineering Co.
Therefore, it can be supposed that the positive charge density of CTS is a key factor to the antibacterial activity of CTS and its derivatives.
