Now, the key of soil environment management and pollution prevention work is to take dust controlling measures so as to prevent tailings spreading and inhibit further seriousness of soil pollution degree.
Specific measures include controlling pollution sources, increasing vegetation coverage, applying biological engineering methods.

Review of Physical and Chemical Properties of Perfluorooctanyl Sulphonate (PFOS) with Respect to Its Potential Contamination on the Environment Sheng ZHANG 1, a, David N Lerner 2,b 1 College of Water Resources and Civil Engineering, Inner Mongolia Agricultural University, Hohhot 010018, China 2Groundwater Protection and Restoration Group, Kroto Research Institute, Department of Civil and Structural Engineering, University of Sheffield, North Campus, Broad Lane, Sheffield S3 7HQ, United Kingdom ashengzhang@imau.edu.cn, b d.n.lerner@sheffield.ac.uk Keywords: Perfluorooctanyl Sulphonate; physical and chemical properties; transport; degradation; ground water; environmental contamination Abstract Perfluorinated surfactants have emerged as priority environmental contaminants due to their detection in environmental and biological matrices as well as concerns regarding their persistence and toxicity.
If PFOS does bind to particulate matter the material would ultimately end up in the sediment.
A material safety data sheet for a current AFFF product states that the product contains one or more organic fluorochemicals that have the potential to resist degradation and persist in the environment.

To illustrate the diversity of topics, a short cross section of research should be provided: For instance, a number of publications deal with disaster-resistant building design of engineered and non-engineered buildings in Indonesia (e.g. [7][8][9]).
The roof-cladding is made by black palm fiber, which is beside bamboo and hardwood the dominating material in the structures.
One of the most fascinating facts about the reconstructed Mbaru Niang houses is that - beside some water protection cladding on the bottom elements below the ground floor – all required building materials can be harvested in close vicinity to the town.
Thus, the buildings can be considered as lighthouse projects regarding environmental footprint, which might seem logical given that their principal concept was developed without having the possibility to deliver building materials from far distance.

Chloride penetration involves many materials and environment variables, some of which show much randomness.
Deterministic prediction methods often ignore the diversity of factors, discreteness of concrete materials and the complexity of environmental conditions.
The DuraCrete established database [19]; according to the type of cementitious materials and exposure conditions, the decay index m is given in the statistical distribution.
When cementitious materials are used such as fly ash and slag, the chloride diffusion coefficient attenuation is very significant.

Introduction From last few decades researchers have keen interest on boundary layer flow due to its great impact in engineering applications; these are particularly, production of papers, reduction of drag, storage of grain, etc.
Gradients “of the key variables at the plate surface are important for engineering design considerations, in particular in materials processing.
Evidently the benefit of high temperature processing of materials is confirmed with radiative transfer contribution.

The deposition is achieved by the consolidation of materials steadily fed into a laser generated melt pool to create a clad layer upon solidification and cooling.
Owing to the fact that laser processing has always resulted in a rapid cooling of the consolidated materials, a unique microstructure with non-equilibrium phases is often formed, which may be different from the microstructure of such material or combination of materials obtained via conventional processes.
