Realistic material stress-strain models can be used to characterize uniaxial spring (or fiber).
The number of the spring depends on material properties, section size and reinforcing bar arrangement.
The spring initial stiffness and strength-displacement are simply calculated as: (of i-th spring) fc=σc.Ai , dc= εc.pz (for concrete) fsy=σsy.Ai, dsy=εsy.pz (for steel) Where K0i = initial stiffness of i-spring, Ei = the material young's modulus, Ai = the spring governed area, and pz the length of assumed plastic zone. σc, εc are the concrete material compression strength and corresponding strain, and σsy, εsy are the steel material yielding stress and strain.

In a hot rolling mill stand the slab is passed between a set of work rolls and this type of rolling permits large deformations of the metal to be achieved with some rolling cycles (Fig. 1). [1]
Hot rolling is primarily concerned with manipulating material shape and geometry rather than mechanical properties.
This is achieved by heating the slab and then applying controlled load to adjust the gap between the work rolls which form the material to a desired size.

Abstract.
Comparative Mathematic Simulation between Outside Wind Cooling and Air Cooling The intensive cooling process (such as continuous casting) can greatly accelerate the solidification of the molten steel[5], element segregation in the billets can be effectively controlled, while the productivity, material yield, and steel quality can be significantly improved when compared to traditional die casting products.

Moreover, waste oils from food processing facilities and poultry farms might be utilized as raw materials to create inexpensive biodiesel.
For this reason, the most efficient method for turning lipid raw materials with a high FFA level into biodiesel is heterogeneous catalysis[27].

CNTs seem to be the most important materials because of their unique structure.
This incomplete nanotube transformation was probably caused by the agglomeration of some foreign materials.
The Both elemental Fe and Al originated from the inner body of stainless steel Parr reactor, which is used to fill with precursor materials and provide high pressure during heating process.
