Combined with widely distributed and abundant, magnesium alloy is one of the lightest metal structural materials and functional materials in engineering applications.

Adsorption method is a simple and practicable technology using in AMD, it uses porous adsorption materials to adsorb heavy metal ions in AMD.
Traditional adsorbents are activated carbon and sulfonated coal, people also developed other materials with adsorption ability, including: attapulgite, diatomite, pumice, medical stone, melamine-formaldehyde-DTPA chelating resin and other modified materials.
The method has a stable effect in treatment of AMD, but the adsorption materials’ service life is short.
Microbiological method has the advantages of low cost, wide adaptability, no secondary pollution, and we can also recycle metal or nonmetal materials.
