The nanocomplexes materials were characterized by TEM, with a particle size around nanoscale particle sizes (~50 nm) with high dispersion phenomena.
The experimental results show that the Cu-La-Ce nanocomplexes materials only minor cause cytotoxicity effect in cultured human cells.
Rather, in this case, studies on cytotoxicity are available, especially for copper-group materials that have been used for decades, but very little is known on the toxicological effect and interaction with cellular structures for most newly developed materials.
Generally, these crystal phases may be responsible for the marked activity of materials.
