Abstract.
In this paper, the performance of periclase-hercynite brick which is recently widely put into use was tested by re-firing in different sintering atmosphere to study the feasibility further of periclase-hercynite brick as a new refractory material for the sintering zone of solid waste treatment cement kiln.
Experiment The material for this experiment is a periclase-hercynite brick from a company.
The conclusion is that periclase-hercynite as a cement kiln burning zone material may not be suitable for a waste materials cement kiln, which is used for solid waste and industrial waste treatment.
