In this study, with iron ore tailings and CaO as raw materials, three belite cement clinker samples were prepared in a muffle furnace at 1400℃ for 10, 20 and 30 minutes respectively.

Electrical degradation is a major concern in the development of new varistor materials.
Experimental Raw materials were prepared to obtain ceramic compounds with nominal composition of 98.2 mol % ZnO + 0.8 mol % Pr6O11 + 0.6 mol % Cr2O3.
The value held well below the 10% limit of allowable variation in Eb for commercial varistor materials.
