In comparison with other non-wood materials such as wheat straw and rice straw etc., bamboo is endowed with several advantages, i.e. longer fiber and better pulp physical property[1].
Therefore, bamboo as the pulping material is attached more and more importance.
Materials and methods Bamboo kraft pulp, collected from the pulp mill of Guangxi Province, was made from Bambusa chungii with 25.6 of a Kappa number, 970 mL·g-1 of viscosity and 27.6% of brightness (ISO).
