Fiber Reinforced Polymer bars are often used as alternative materials for steel bars because they are anti-corrosive, exhibit an excellent strength-to-weight ratio and are easy to handle but the main disadvantage is its brittle nature.

Fiber Bragg Gratings in Small Diameter Fibers
Due to their small diameters, optical fibers are attractive sensor elements to be embeded in
structural materials.
By embedding sensors such as fiber Bragg gratings into the material it becomes possible to monitor the structural behaviour during production and/or operation.
Fiber Bragg Gratings in Fiber tapers The interaction of the guided light in an FBG with the surrounding material can be used for a refractive sensor.

How to find a high strength and low cost of new style greenhouse construction material is an urgent issue in grape rain cultivation.
The multi-span grape rain shed using the new style material is discussed in this paper.
The loads of grape rain shed mainly include dead load such as steel weight, cover material weight, and the dead loads value is 3Nm-1.

However, with the deepening of the knowledge about rock medium and its engineering characteristics, the elastic and elasto-plastic theories are found to often have obvious defects in the description and processing for time effect and rheological characteristics of rock material, and the time effect phenomena only can be explained from the rheological point.
The detrital components of highly-weathered breccia are mainly formed by detritus as well as a small amount of mineral fragments with interstitial materials of sand, silt, clay and chemical precipitation.

MATERIAL AND METHODS
2.1 Scope and Functional Unit
The functional unit for this system was 1 MW of electricity produced.
This system boundary shows that this study is cradle-to-gate because the processes involved consisted of raw material to production stages.
In this section, the sensitivity of natural gas country sources is analyzed to see the influence of the raw materials towards the electricity production.

Bismuth tungstate (Bi2WO6, n-type, band gap = 2.8 eV) is a promising visible-light-driven photocatalytic material and has recently stimulated intensive interest [12-14].
In nanophase materials, in homogeneities related to defects and space charge formation in the inter phase layers is created an absorption current ensuing in a dielectric loss.
The ac conductivity (σac) was calculated for the Bi2WO6 nanoparticles from the following formula (4) The σ values were fitted into the equation, (where, k is the Boltzmann constant, T is the absolute temperature and σ0 is a constant depending on the material) and the activation energy E was estimated.

Abstract.
Experimental material is 1Cr17Mn6Ni5N, thickness of steel plates is 0.9mm, 1.05mm, 1.25mm, 1.7mm and length and width is 100mm×100mm.
From Fig. 6 we know that with pulse width increasing, upper kerf width firstly decreases then tends towards stability in 0.7ms; under kerf width shows a trend of increase by slow speed, because the interactive time of laser and material increases, when pulse width increases.
