Abstract: This study selected high alkali aluminosilicate glass as the research object.
Glass materials used in this experiment include: quartz sand, aluminum hydroxide, lithium hydroxide, sodium carbonate, sodium carbonate, potassium carbonate, calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate, chemical materials used as fining agent: stannous oxide.

Introduction
SANS is a powerful non-destructive technique for examining nanostructures of materials at size ranges of 1 to 500 nm [1].
The aim of this study is to apply the SANS technique to study a porous gehlenite-based ceramic (tetragonal Ca2Al2SiO7) fabricated from waste materials.
Experimental Procedures In this work, SLS glass bottles, aluminium cans and clamshells were used as starting materials.
These raw materials were collected from local industrial waste.
