Typical impurity on roller's head: a) whole surface in liquid, b) individual liquid's dot, c), d) stain of liquid on the grinding surface, e) solid parts of grinding material (all pictures taken with the same light conditions) The method description To fulfil the requirements of the vision methods the roller must be cleaned from the gathered impurities before the inspection process [3, 4].
After cleaning, in different lighting conditions, several defects could be exposed, such as grinding defects, forging defects, hardening defects, material lacks and corrosion.

The studies carried out in the last few years about materials of concrete have emphasized that the use of reinforcing fibers with adequate dosage by volume of concrete improves the behavior of composite members and reduces its brittleness. [2]
This paper presented an experimental investigation on the axial compressive behaviour of hollow welded steel stud columns, with square cross-section, filled with plain normal strength concrete, plain high strength concrete or steel-fiber reinforced high strength concrete.
