It usually uses biphenyl disulfide (or thiophenol, methyl phenyl sulfide, methyl phenyl sulfoxide) as raw materials, oxygen or air as the oxidant, acetyl acetone vanadium oxide and so on as the catalyst in this method.
We can summarize them as follows (as shown in Scheme 2): The starting material thiophenol was first oxidized to biphenyl disulfide.
While the methyl phenyl sulfoxide or methyl phenyl sulfide is used as the starting materials, to synthesize PPS through oxidative polymerization, they usually react via a poly (sulfonium cation) process [20,22,24].

Abstract.
Experimental Materials and coating preparation.
The following elemental materials are used in this study:99.9% pure Mo (2–4 μm) and 99.5% pure Si (<43 μm) powders.
Oxidation of thermally sprayed materials can significant influenced the phase composition, microstructure, properties and therefore performance of sprayed coatings.

Two standard tensile samples (parallels) were prepared in order to determine the materials yield strength, so that ES during NA could be defined at half this value.
The same method was used for determining 50 % of the materials yield strength at the beginning of AA.
It was observed that the materials precipitation kinetics was accelerated after performing ES, leading to faster over-aging, something which is also characteristic of plastically deformed materials, where precipitates usually nucleate on dislocation lines.
