This paper presents the basic information necessary for the implementation of a system to assist choice of retaining structure. This study is registered in the framework of various activities of the civil engineering laboratory LGCH (Laboratoire Génie Civil et Habitat de l'ESIGEC, France).
This level is often practiced by engineers as a reflexion (mentally); it is carried out into three stages: · Identification of the project particular data base: The choice of solution requires the elaboration of an adapted information base.
This study allowed us to twin the know-how of the Laboratory Genie Civil et Habitat (LGCH) of ESIGEC (Chambery - France) and the technical know-how of professionals.

The waterproofing is the most essential technical specification and the difficult problem in civil engineering specially in the water draining water construction and the tunnel.
In this paper, through combining engineering practice, raise a processing project of tunnel waterproofing constructions, based on the “rigid-soft combination” principle.
A large number of engineering practice that successful experiences and failures proved as long underground surrounded by water and stress conditions complex, only rigid waterproof layer is not enough, flexible waterproof layer must also increase.
When the underground waterproof concrete hardening, it will inevitably be different sizes, different crack depths, cellular and Pock, affecting the concrete waterproofing function, cause engineering leakage of water.
From the point of view of material properties, in underground engineering, rigid and flexible waterproof material should be used in combination, learn from each other.

The advantages of BFRP bar for instance corrosion resistant, high strength, light weight, fatigue, insulation compared with rebar [2,3] make it promising in civil engineering. 1.1 Uniaxial tensile test of BFRP bar SCDY-1 bilateral electronic extensometer which made by Chongqing University is used as extensometer while the overwhelming majority of extensometers of universal testing machines are unilateral electronic extensometers.
The result has a precise illustration that BFRP keeps good tensile mechanical properties in acid, bases and salt solutions and has excellent corrosion resistance that is significant in civil engineering applications.

Introduction The environmental exposition of clay ceramic products used in civil construction, such as bricks and tiles, tends to impair their physical and chemical properties [1].
Materials and Methods The two basic precursor materials used in his work were a clay body, typically used in the fabrication of common ceramic products for civil construction in Campos dos Goytacazes, RJ, and a granite residue generated from the cutting of stone blocks.
