Experimental design Experimental equipment: JYS-2000 digital display type building materials pressure test machine Mix design: experimental materials are as described above, in order to study on the difference of water cement ratio’s influence on shale ceramsite concrete strength, use pre-wetting treatment for 24h to eliminate the influence of aggregate ceramsite absorbing water, use six different water cement ratio of 0.30,0.33,0.36,0.4,0.45 and 0.5, aggregate are mixed size which are between10 and 26mm, each casting 9 standard cubes with its size of 150mm * 150mm * 150mm, maintain 7,28,56 days in standard condition. specific mixture ratios are shown in table 1.
