Apart from the node forces, the initial variable value R in optimization can be determined from the deformation analysis. 4Cr5MoSiV1 and 20Cr, equivalent to AISI H13 and AISI 5120, are designated as the materials of die and workpiece.
H13 and 5140 are traditional tool materials, and thus the allowable stresses were specified as constraints in the optimization to avoid the die failure [3, 7].
