Materials and Methods Materials and Device Chemicals: 2-acrylamide-2-methyl propane sulfonic acid (AMPS), chemical pure; sodium hydroxide, analytical grade; N,N'-Methylenebisacrylamide(NMBA), analytical grade; potassium persulfate(KPS), analytical grade.
After a preliminary analysis, the main reason was that, in initial phase, after the adsorption material contacted and absorbed with heavy metal ions, after a long time oscillation, made the heavy metal ions which had been already absorbed escape from the adsorption again.

Introduction Stone masonry is an oldest building material, most early masonry is lime mortar or low-grade cement mortar stone masonry, the strength of which is lower.
Based on the test results and relevant standards, design value of shear strength of the masonry is assessed and discussed in this study. 1 Tests of Raw Materials Granite, limestone and sandstone is chosen as the blocks of specimens of the masonry.
Mechanical properties of the blocks are tested according to Test Methods of Stone Material for Highway Engineering [4], and the mechanical parameters of the blocks are shown in table 1.
According to simulating analysis of shear test, shear stress at the location of shear cracks is greater than the shear strength defined by Eq.3 and less than the shear strength of blocks or the joint concrete [2,6].When the strength of joint material is lower, the shear strength of masonry is mainly determined by the joint material and has, basically, nothing to do with the block strength, and this conclusion is also confirmed in high-strength masonry of this study.
