Introduction Recent progress in solid state physics and materials science could make good use of the various selection criteria in order to identify new potential candidates for good thermoelectric materials.
A systematic search for novel thermoelectric materials resulted in the identification of a family of compounds with skutterudite structure as good candidates for high performance thermoelectric conversion efficiency.
All of them are satisfied in the skutterudite materials [1,3].
Experimental Procedures CoSb3 compounds were prepared by the electric arc melting method, which is widely used to melt and solidify the volatile materials.
