Principal of stabilization of tunnel foundations built on collapsible loess Based on engineering properties of collapsible loess and experiences from previous treatment measures of loess foundations, protections should go on firstly and then apply some treat measures in stabilization of tunnel foundation built on collapsible loess.
For loess soils, solutions of foundation are to improve engineering properties of these soils, to decrease impermeability and compressibility and thus prevent occurrence of collapse.
All these solutions were developed from civil engineering and were applied broadly.
The root pile was applied broadly in civil engineering and was applied in tunnel foundation in recent years.

The research on interaction of ground fissures-stratum-subway tunnel dynamic under the effect of subway dynamic load and their hazards control is not only the inevitable important scientific problem in the construction of subway in Xi’an, but also an important problem to be solved in the construction of underground engineering, which has an important meaning for further improving the research level of the subway security in China and promoting the combination of ground fissure disasters research and engineering practice.
It also will promote further innovation and breakthrough of disaster prevention and mitigation in underground engineering.
