Yang [2] reported that a pressure-induced solidification of ceramic suspensions could avoid the effect of the temperature gradient on gelcasting process, but this method increases the complexity of the equipment; microwaves can heat the suspension uniformly, but it is not so easy to control as to overheat the suspension and form pores in it usually, as well as it is not applicable for metal mould, which is necessary to keep a good surface of the green body.
