Particularly, NbSS/Nb5Si3 in-situ
composites exhibit the highest potential in term of mechanical properties.
However, limited reports are available on the tensile properties and fracture behavior at high temperatures.
In this study, we investigate the alloying effects of 2mol%-C and -W on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the NbSS/Nb5Si3 in-situ composite, Nb-18Si-5Mo-5Hf, which shows a good tolerance to fractures [13].
Tensile Properties.
Accordingly, these three factors; interface cracks, NbSS stretching and NbSS hardening, may contribute to high tensile strength of SMHW at 1473K.

Transparent soil is a soil with similar physical and mechanical properties with natural soil, which can get internal deformation without the need of implanting only by the laser and digital cameras and other equipment.
Particles and pore fluid refractive index matching process is another important factor affecting the degree of transparent synthetic soil transparency.
Therefore I believe that domestic researchers can study transparent clay from the following aspects: First, using silica powder and liquid has the same refractive index make transparent synthetic clay, observe the effect of different factors on the transparent liquid and the time the soil transparency.
Second, through the tests of consolidation and compression study the mechanical properties by direct shear and triaxial under the same conditions and strength properties of clay and other natural clay.

The fiber type and thickness of the copper foil also affect the thrust force and torque.
This article examines the factors (drilling speed, feed, drill shape) affecting thrust force and torque during drilling PCB supported holes (3.2 mm in diameter).

Due to its superior properties, this material has been widely used for cutting tool.
Since no clear trend observed for EDLed PCD, the Heat Affected Zone for PCD was predicted to only appear for few micron meter depth.
Further than that, variability of cobalt composition at the grain boundary would also affect to uneven temperature distribution.
This stress relaxation may happen due to several factors including surface crack generation and reduction of coefficient of thermal expansion mismatch between elements in PCD.

The mechanical properties of cemented carbide substantially depend on its composition and WC particle size.
Their mechanical properties can be modified over a broad range by changing the content of Co phase and WC grain size [4].
A reduction of the WC grain size, on the other hand, increases the hardness and improves other mechanical properties [5].
Tool life is the most basic and primary indicators to determine the advantages and disadvantages of cutting tool material performance, it is mainly achieved through the tool wear test, in general, many factors affect the tool wear, cutting speed is the most significant factor affecting cutting tool wear and tool life after the workpiece, the tool material and tool geometry were selected, therefore, all turning tests were carried out on a conventional lathe equipped CA6140 with stepless speed change device, continuous dry cylindrical cutting.
Tool wear mainly depends on the material chemical composition, physical and mechanical properties, microstructure and cutting conditions, etc. whichever factor changes, it will affect on the tool at a certain extent, the wear mechanism will also not be same.

The predictability of dental implants is affected by biologic, technical, and biomechanical factors [2].
The control of these factors is important to bone preservation [3], [4]and prosthetic complication reduction [5], which could extend the implant-supported rehabilitation success rate [6].
The bone-implant interface properties are determined by the quantity of the implant surface in intimate contact with mineralized bone tissue as well as by the mechanical quality of bone tissue around the interface.

Mechanical properties of materials used in this study are shown in Table 1.

The MoS2 influence during processing and in the parts properties is also covered.
Table 1: Technological properties of mixtures containing 0 to 9% of MoS2. * Samples compacted at 500MPa.
Microstructural and Properties Evolution The microstructural and properties evolution results are in accordance with the sintering studies performed by dilatometry technique (fig. 7 and table 3).
Table 3: Properties of samples containing 0 to 9% vol. of MoS2 sintered at 1150 °C.
The initial content also has no influence on the reaction temperature but the phase morphology (shape factor, elongation, diameter and so on) is directly dependent on the MoS2 initial content and the mechanical properties depend upon these different morphologies.

Now, considerable attention is being paid to improving the process, so as to produce parts with locally varying distributions of mechanical properties, which introduces the potential for making parts conforming more fully to functional requirements [2].
Fig. 1 schematically shows in simplified form the distribution of microstructure in the work-piece and formed part, and the method of assessing mechanical properties.
Microstructural distribution varies with many factors consisting of both material thermal properties and thermal conditions, such as thermal conductivity of the alloy, distribution of heating temperature, and soaking time.
For beams with graded microstructures, the local instability initiated at a position away from the hard (martensite) zone, in a region associated with mixed microstructural phases and therefore a range of mechanical properties.

Second, the contents of element C of si-steel was low, its microstructure was the main ferrite and the less austenitic at high temperature, the crystal grain of welding heat affect zone grew up during welding, and the dimension of crystal grain was retained during cooling, leading to the big crystal grain in the welding heat affect zone; Finally, the welding seam produced easily bainite and M-A microstructure during cooling due to the Si element and the smaller welding energy.
So,the toughness of welding seam was low,the performance of welding seam and heat affect zone were lower thanthe base mental.
The mechanical properties of welding line was tested by tensile and repeated bend tests, Repeated bend test according to the GB/T235 -1999, the sample width 20mm, bending radius 15mm, 90 degrees bending angle.
Conclusions Utilize the Trumph TLF12000 fast-flow CO2 laser, the laser welding characteristic and mechanical performance of 50ww600 hot rolling Si-steel strip have been studied experimentally.
