For cladding material, the basal poles are typically oriented in the radial-tangential plane resulting in irradiation growth in the axial direction of the cladding.
The material of interest is ZIRLO TM a zirconium alloy developed by Westinghouse, USA, which contains small additions of niobium, tin and iron (chemical composition can be found in [3]).
