The shoulder peak at 1260 cm-1 was attributed to the C-O stretching vibrations of lignin, the peak at 1637 cm-1 to the stretching vibrations of cellulose hydroxyl groups, the peak at 1637 cm-1 to the vibrational stretching of cellulose hydroxyl groups, and the peak at 896 cm-1 to the β-glycosidic bonds of amorphous cellulose.
