The mechanism of material removal is based on the laser-material interaction which may induce thermal ablation and/or photo-ablation of the materials.
Acoustic Emission Measurement Results Two samples of different materials have been experimentally tested by the acoustic emission system, namely, a glass plate and a Plexiglas plate.

Wave mixing is an effective way to observe the nonlinearity parameter of the material.
With the help of a finite difference algorithm, namely semi-discrete central scheme, this paper aims to measure the nonlinearity of materials using non-collinear ultrasonic waves and to investigate both the generation and propagation of a resonant wave, thus obtaining a better understanding of the nonlinear wave mixing phenomenon. 2.

Introduction Nanocomposites offer a high potential to create new and advanced properties in plastic materials.
Since in polymer nanocomposites the interphase area may cover a large fraction of the material volume, the altered molecular mobility may reflect to the thermal transitions in the amorphous phase, density variations and crystallization behaviour of the whole nanocomposite material.
Improvements in mechanical and thermal properties of PP were also expected when grafting flexible PIB chains of varying length into the filler particles.[3,5] Materials and methods Materials All materials and reagents were used as purchased without further purification or modification.

The second kind of sensitivity problem: In practical engineering problem, structure dimension and material performance and other indices all fluctuate around the mean value, most probability density functions of random variable are determined by mean and variance。
