Experimental Material and Method The ring specimen is 45 steel plated with 0.1mm thickness nickel coating as shown in Fig.1.
The block specimen is special rubber material SHX-2 used in water-lubricated bearings liner as shown in Fig.2 [6].
The basic mechanical properties of the rubber material for water-lubricated bearings were given in Table 1.
