Due to the prevailing conditions inside, the hearth of the blast furnace is made up of graphite, carbon, carbon-graphite, and microporous materials.
It implies a requirement for adequate quality of refractory materials applied, and as a consequence maintenance costs of such big units necessitate the extension of the life of the furnace.
Charge materials with titanium compounds have started being used in order to extend the life of the refractory lining and the service life of the blast furnace.

High-speed and high-temperature are the characteristics of the flow field in scramjet engine; the regular non-slip wall boundary condition requires zero speed at wall; in the same time, the material temperature limit does not allow high wall temperature; therefore the velocity gradient and temperature gradient in the engine boundary layer are huge.
A non-slip and constant temperature (1100K, assumed wall material limit) boundary condition is applied for the down wall.
We set the wall temperature 1100K which is the limiting temperature of the material we assumed.

After 5 years of operation, the eutrophicated water remediation system was found to have successfully improved the water quality of the constructed wetland by reducing total phosphorus, chemical oxygen demand with permanganate index, and total nitrogen and by efficiently delaying blockage of the constructed wetlands by organic materials.
Materials and methods 2.1 Description of site This study was conducted on the grounds of a conference center in Beijing, China.

Additionally, the applied steel strength is increased, and S690QL and S960QL base materials are used as base materials for hardfacing.
Applied Base Materials Two types of high-strength steel were used as base materials for the investigation.
Table 1 shows the chemical compositions and table 2 shows the mechanical properties of these materials, according to material certificates.
