On various conditions of temperature fields and vacuum degrees, particular kinds of gas, compounds or simple substances which contain the elements that composing the coating, will be blown into reaction chamber that has the untreated substrate.
Not only do it deposit metal coating and alloy coating, but so do the coatings of different materials including various compounds, semiconductor, ceramic and organic of monolayer or multilayered structure.
In 2005, aiming at the anti-erosion property of medium caliber barrel, NJIT proposed the using of chemical vapor deposition method to prepare high-quality tantalum coating, providing an alternative technology to solve the problem of wear resistance and anti-erosion.

Vladimir P.
The aim of the present study is to investigate the effect of secondary decomposition within both α2-phase matrix and α1-phase particles on the coercivity of Fe-Co-Cr alloys.
The alloys at first were solution-treated at 1200 оC for 20 min.

Introduction
The aims for molten iron dephosphorization are: (1) reducing the burden of dephosphorization in convertor to reduce slags during smelting[1,2]; (2) To obtain ultra-low phosphorous steel and alloy steel with lower cost[4,5]; (3) the content of phosphorus will not be increased in molten iron because the BOF slags are recycling[6,7,8].
It can be used for computing the reactions of the given elements and compounds, especially computing the concentration of every species when the reactions get balanced.
The users can input the information through the Reactants Window and Menu Window of Equilib in most cases. 48 reaction species constituted by as many as 32 different kinds of components can be input in,the compounds can involve “streams”-what are restored as the former balanced results(of great importance in process simulation ).
All the phases from the compounds database and liquor database in Menu Window can be searched.

For AMg6 alloys, a wire with an increased amount of magnesium (by 1.5-2%) is used to compensate for its carbon loss during welding.
The imprint of the indenter, taken with the SEM at magnification 500 times A load equal to 200 g was chosen, which determines the level of microhardness of the welding zone with control of the indenter penetration into individual intermetallic compounds of the alloy and possible pores left when some intermetallic compounds emerge from the surface of the section as a result of mechanical processing.

Martensitic Ni-Mn-Ga based alloys are known for the Magnetic Shape Memory (MSM) effect, which upon application of an external magnetic field can generate a strain up to 12 % depending on the microstructure of the martensite.
Introduction Magnetic Shape Memory alloys (MSMA) are a group of metallic materials, which have multi-functional actuation, sensing and vibration damping properties.
The most widely studied MSMA group are the Ni-Mn-Ga based alloys, which typically are off-stoichiometric variations of the Ni2MnGa Heusler alloy.
Several different modulated martensite types, i.e., 10M, 14M and non-modulated (NM) are reported in Ni-Mn-Ga alloys.

Those stable compounds are generally formed as in-situ reaction.
As a result of this reaction, relatively fine dispersoids of those intermetallic compounds in titanium are obtained.
Mechanical properties of pure titanium thus cannot be superior to typical titanium alloys, such as Ti-6Al-4V (mass%) alloys showing the tensile strength of 931 MPa at room temperature [11].
It should be emphasised that these hardness values of the pure titanium powder after 8 h of MM were significantly higher than that of typical high strength titanium alloys, such as Ti-6Al-4V (mass%) alloys.
