Energy consumption in buildings are about 25% in the process of using, with construction related energy consumption (such as steel, cement, glass and other building materials industry energy consumption) totally being about 46.7%.
In 1953 in On Psychological Thing he flatly declared: "the concept of pure feeling materials is an extremely empty abstract".

Introduction Slake Durability Index test which was firstly developed by Chandra [1] and then improved by Franklin & Chandra [2] is being widely used in rock mechanics, engineering geology and the selection and evaluation of natural building material.
The slake durability test was suggested as a standard test for rocks by the International Society of Rock Mechanics [5] and also by the American Society for Testing and Materials [6].

So it is believed that the research and development of these alloys with excellent properties will attract increasing attention of the materials researchers and the foundry men [2-4].
Experimental material has high ultimate tensile strength Rm - 247 MPa in as-cast state after rapid cooling.
In the experimental material the presence of the Fe impurity enables the crystallization of acicular plate-like phase Al5FeSi (about the size 80 -100 µm) (Fig. 3b) during solidification, even though the Fe content is low (0.15 %) in a melt.

Introduction The fiber reinforced composite materials are used widely in aerospace applications and various machine components because of their high strength-to-weight and stiffness-to-weight ratios as compared with many traditional metallic materials.
Thus by reducing the material stiffnesses by a certain amount, we account by the loss of stiffness [7].
The material and geometrical characteristics of analyzed specimen are shown, respectively, in Table 1 and in Fig. 1 [9].

Brief comments on “Unloading Rock Mechanics” and Engineering Applications ZHAO Baoyun 1,2, ZHU Keshan1 1Key Laboratory of New Technology for Construction of Cities in Mountain Area (Chongqing University) Ministry of Education, Chongqing University, Chongqing, 400045, China 2School of Civil Engineering and Architecture; Chongqing University of Science & Technology Chongqing, Chongqing 401331, China Email: baoyun666@163.com Keywords : Rock engineering; discontinuity; excavation; unloading Abstract.
Excavation is to remove rock material from within the rock mass resulting an opening in a sequential way.
Ha et al[3] developed an apparatus to study the size effects of unloading rock mass using aeromechanical model materials.
Removed materials.
