Sensors that can detect the changing of the structure and satisfy the requirement of civil structure are one of the key technologies of the monitoring systems that should be development.
Since the middle of 1990’s, the Center of Structural Monitoring and Control of Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) has focused on novel sensors that suit for civil infrastructures.
The other is nano engineered concrete (NEC) that making the concrete multifunctional by incorporating nanomaterials with traditional concrete.
Nano engineered concrete Research shows the resistivity of the cement decreased dramatically with increasing carbon black (CB) content from 7.22 vol.% to 11.39 vol.%, i.e. (12% wt.% to 20 Wt.%).

In the fields of architecture and civil engineering, construction is a process that consists of the building or assembling of infrastructure.
Normally, the job is managed by a project manager, and supervised by a construction manager, design engineer, construction engineer or project architect.
Introduction In general, there are four types of construction including residential building construction, industrial construction, commercial building construction and heavy civil construction.
The design usually consists of drawings and specifications, usually prepared by a design team including surveyors, civil engineers, cost engineers (or quantity surveyors), mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, structural engineers, fire protection engineers, planning consultants, architectural consultants, and archaeological consultants.
In this arrangement, the architect or engineer acts as the project coordinator.

The civil engineering fields of FRP (Fiber Reinforced Polymers) pultruded profiles are the structural rehabilitation of the existing constructions and the new buildings.
Introduction In the disastrous scenario of the last decades characterized by earthquakes, hurricanes and other natural disasters the researches in the civil engineering field are oriented toward materials and technologies that favor the least environmental impact and that improve the structural safety.
The identification of the dynamic parameters of pultruded FRP profiles and structures in the civil engineering field finds the application both in the laboratory tests and in the real case studies.
The seismic design of all-FRP structures is not yet well investigated despite the good relationship between self-weight and mechanical performances offers promising ideas for the civil engineering.

Sustainable Development of Engineering Construction in China Peiling He 1, a, Meiya Chen 2,b 1 Architecture Engineering Dept. , Nanjing Institute of Engineering, Nanjing, 211100, China 2 Architecture Engineering Dept. , Nanjing Institute of Engineering, Nanjing, 211100, China a hepeiling2003@sina.com, byayac2003@vip.sina.com Keywords: Engineering construction, sustainable development, problems, measures Abstract.
Engineering construction is the pioneer of economic construction.
A similar situation exists in the engineering design.
Hence it is suggested that the syllabus should include these subjects as mandatory courses for undergraduates of civil construction engineering major.

This is another resource of biomass that can be extracted from corrupted material in industry, civil or rural societies.
Civil Waste- Waters.
Civil waste- waters are able to produce bio-gas due to have mineral combinations in non-aerobic conditions and in fermentation storages.
Industries waste water may also applied as a recyclable energy source like all civil waste waters.
