Introduction In the rotary kilns of cement factories, the raw materials coming from the raw material mill are turned into clinker.
It grinds inside the clinker's necessary components (limestone, clay, marl), together with other materials (aluminum oxides, iron oxides).
Releases come from the physical and chemical reactions of raw materials and fuels.
Material and Method Romanian Portland cement is obtained in a dry process, in which the raw materials are ground and dried to raw flour in the form of fluid powder.

The main cause of the urban heat island effect is from the modification of land surfaces, which use materials that effectively store short wave rations.
The researchers claims that the construction materials like concrete , asphalt , and other building materials absorbs large amount of short wave radiations and released during the night as long wave radiations, making cooling a slow process .
The cavity is filled with various waste materials and temperature variation is observed.
Study shows feasiblity of using various waste materials in the cavity wall ,as the material with high thermal resistivity will create the barrier for temperature to move innward.

Introduction With the development of ultra-large scale integration (ULSI), device dimensions are becoming smaller and smaller, and the diameters of silicon wafer used as substrate materials are becoming larger and larger (up to ø300 mm).
In recent years, some polishing tests of hard and brittle materials in the presence of cryogenic polishing pad containing colloidal SiO2 slurry, nano-sized CeO2 or Al2O3 slurry were carried out and smooth surfaces with nanometer or sub-nanometer roughness have been obtained [5,6].
